Telepsychiatry lets you meet with our providers by secure video instead of traveling to our Gaithersburg office. It is a convenient option for busy parents, college students home for the summer, adults with demanding work schedules, and anyone who lives farther from Montgomery County.
Who can use telepsychiatry
- Children, adolescents (with a parent or guardian), and adults
- Patients who are physically located in Maryland at the time of each visit
- Patients with a private space, a reliable internet connection, and a device with a camera

- Follow-up visits and medication management
- ADHD, anxiety, and depression care
- Parent consultations for child and adolescent patients
Some situations are better suited to an in-person visit, such as when a physical exam is needed. Your provider will let you know if an office visit is recommended.

Visits take place on a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You will receive a link before your appointment — no complicated setup required.
