Our Story
ClarityPoint Behavioral Health was founded with a simple mission: to provide accessible, compassionate, and evidence-based psychiatric care to individuals of all ages in Maryland.
Our practice is built on the belief that everyone deserves quality psychiatric care delivered with empathy and respect. Seeking help for mental health concerns takes courage, and we are here to support patients and families every step of the way.
Our team includes Vivienne Gomes, M.D., an Adult, Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, and Emmanuel Sango, DNP, APRN, CRNP, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Together, we care for children, teens, and adults under one roof.
What We Do
- Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Psychiatric medication management
- Supportive psychotherapy
- Psychoeducation for patients and families
- Coordination with therapists, pediatricians, primary care and schools
Our focus is psychiatric evaluation and medication management. We do not currently offer stand-alone weekly psychotherapy programs such as CBT or DBT; when these are recommended, we help patients connect with qualified therapists and coordinate care with them.
